Cleaning
Dust can cut output noticeably, especially in dry seasons. Clean with plain water and a soft cloth or mop in the early morning or evening. Avoid abrasive materials and high-pressure jets on the panel edges.
Monitoring
Check the inverter app weekly. A sudden drop in generation on a sunny day usually indicates shading, a tripped breaker or a fault.
Periodic checks
- Tighten structure bolts annually; look for rust.
- Inspect cables for rodent damage and cracked insulation.
- Keep the inverter ventilated and dust-free.
- Trim vegetation causing new shade.
